Aston Martin Vanquish

The internet car community has been blowing up about the new flagship super car Aston Martin released, previously known as Project AM310 and recently spotted without its pre-release camouflage, as pre-orders are now being taken for the stunning new Vanquish.

The reason this car is more important then every other super car set to hit the market this year ? The company’s new VH Gen4 aluminum platform is the worlds first body made soley from carbon fiber. This has resulted in an astonishing 30 percent stiffer body then the top range cars in its field. Take the stiffer body and throw a naturally aspirated 6.0 litre v12 engine in the mix and you have one mean car pushing 565BHP making Aston Martins most powerful production model to date.

Powered by a significantly revised naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 petrol engine mated to the proven Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox, the new car offers suitably impressive performance figures. The V12’s power peak of 565 bhp (573 PS) makes it Aston Martin’s most potent production model yet, out muscled only by the strictly limited edition £1.2m One-77 supercar.

Describing the car’s design, Aston’s Mark Reichman told CAR Magazine said “it’s about the message of power, but in a restrained way,” although from where we’re standing, there’s nothing very restrained about the deep, carbon front spitter, the 20-inch rims, or that elongated slash cut down the side. Take a look at the rear too, where you can spot the boomerang LED lights inspired by the limited edition Aston Martin One-77.
